Capacity and spaces
How many guests can you host?
Our highest-capacity space, the Rastro Garden, holds up to 300 guests in cocktail format and 200 seated. The dining room takes 250 cocktail and 180 seated; the terrace 200 and 120. The full matrix by space and format is on the venues page.
Can the ceremony be outdoors?
Yes — that is the format most couples choose: among the vines, timed to the sunset, with the Andes behind. The reception then moves to the winery or the Rastro garden.
What happens if the weather turns?
Our official contingency moves the ceremony into the Winery — the barrel room — with the same guest capacity. The decision is made the day before, and it is written into the proposal from the start.
Is it cold at night, even in summer?
In the Uco Valley, yes. Gualtallary sits between 1,100 and 1,500 meters and the daily thermal swing is high: a 32°C afternoon can become a 14°C night. We plan pashminas, outdoor heaters or a transition to an enclosed space for the second half of the party — including in January.
Planning and timing
How far in advance should we book?
Twelve to eighteen months for peak dates — November and harvest, February to April. Shoulder months such as October, December and April are more flexible at nine to twelve months.
When is the best season?
The season runs October to April. November is the most requested month; harvest, February to April, gives the most photogenic light. May and September are a value window for couples who accept the cold, with snow-capped Andes as the backdrop.
How many days should we plan for?
Three to four. The consolidated format is arrival and welcome dinner, a day of wine and mountains, the wedding, and a farewell brunch.
Do you work with our wedding planner?
Routinely. Our team operates the local infrastructure and works alongside your planner, who keeps the client relationship and the creative direction. There is a dedicated professional channel with technical materials.
Guests and logistics
Where do our guests stay?
At the group’s three hotels in the center of Mendoza — over 350 rooms — coordinated by the same team running the wedding. The couple can stay in one of the two exclusive suites at the winery itself.
How do guests get from the city to the winery?
By charter transport contracted as part of the wedding, in both directions with time margin. Guests should not drive to a winery event — and they do not need to.
How do guests reach Mendoza?
Mendoza International Airport (MDZ) is one connection from most cities, typically via Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires or São Paulo. The airport is 20–30 minutes from the city center.
Is English spoken?
Yes. The commercial team, the venue team and the group’s hotels operate in English.
Proposal and contract
Why do you not publish fixed prices?
Because the value depends on variables that only exist after a conversation: guest count, season, days of programming, and the level of gastronomy and wine. A fixed price published without scope hides exclusions. What we deliver is a detailed written proposal, with inclusions and exclusions line by line.
What currency are contracts in?
US dollars, as is market practice for international weddings in Mendoza. The currency, installment schedule, exchange policy at each payment date and cancellation terms are all agreed in writing before signing.
What is included in a proposal?
It depends on the design, but our integrated structure means spaces, gastronomy, wine, accommodation and local coordination can sit inside one contract. The proposal states explicitly what is included, what we coordinate and what stays with you.
Can we taste the menu before deciding?
Yes, subject to calendar availability — during your visit to Mendoza or at the planning meeting. A table is chosen by tasting it.
